PROGRAMME FRENCH + SCIENCES: NEW SESSIONS OPEN IN 2022
Are you a science student and speak English? Are you interested in sustainable development, marine sciences, transport and energy, or micro and nanotechnologies? Are you ready to live a unique experience of 3 to 4 weeks in a beautiful French region, and to learn the basics of French?
The French + Sciences program is for you!
The "French ⨁ Sciences" program, developed by Campus France in partnership with FLE centers, diplomatic posts and Espaces Campus France, is a new lever of attractiveness for international students. New sessions are open for the year 2022.
Promoting French technological know-how by overcoming the language barrier
The creation of the "French ⨁ Sciences" program responds to an objective of attracting English-speaking students enrolled in scientific and technological universities, who may be completely new to French.
The sessions offered in the framework of "French ⨁ Sciences" aim to promote French technological know-how and the excellence of scientific training. They are essentially conducted in English - while including French courses: the objective is to overcome the language barrier, for this public that the need to learn French beforehand may dissuade from "choosing France", and from pursuing higher education there later.
Innovative themes around current issues
These short stays of 3 to 4 weeks are structured around a theme and internationally recognized companies in the economic basin of the region where the program's partner FLE centers are located, all of which have been awarded the "Label qualité FLE" (FLE quality label): Around sustainable development for Montpellier and Accent français, Marine sciences and technologies for Ciel Bretagne, Micro and nanotechnologies for industrial applications with the CLA in Besançon, and Transport and Energy with French in Normandy in Rouen. The last three allow the validation of ECTS credits.
